Basic Itinerary: Delhi / Leh – Tso moriri – Nubra – Leh / Delhi

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI - International Flight
Welcome to India !!! Upon arrival at Delhi Airport you will be met with our Representative & Private transfer from Airport to Hotel. Check in at the hotel. The Rooms have been blocked from 1200 Noon hrs for Immediate Occupancy. Overnight.

After Breakfast meeting with your Guide {Department of Tourism approved} at the lobby of the Hotel. Visit Old and New parts of Delhi - each with its specific charm and glory - makes a very interesting city for its sustenance to medieval and modern cultures at the same time and space. In the first half you will visit Old Delhi - including Jama Masjid (Mosque), Gandhi’s Cremation Site and a Rikshaw ride to Red Fort followed by the visit of Humanyun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and a drive past the government buildings in Delhi. Return to hotel. Overnight.

DAY 03: DELHI / LEH Flight (AM hrs)
Early morning after tea coffee at hotel, departure transfer to airport to board your flight to LEH (3505 mts) On arrival, transfer to hotel. Thereafter, full-day at leisure for independent activities. Lunch, dinner and overnight in hotel. Leh (Ladakh) – is one of the highest mountain capitals in the world. Leh is in a fertile side valley of the Indus about 10km from the river. It developed as a trading post and market, attracting a wide variety of merchants – from Yarkand, Kashgar, Kashmir, Tibet and north India. Tea, salt, household articles, wool and semi-precious stones were all traded in the market. Buddhism travelled along the Silk Road and the Kashmir and Ladakh feeder, which has also seen the passage of soldiers, explorers and pilgrims, forerunners of the tourists who today contribute most to the urban economy. Leh is a peaceful, atmospheric place. It is a pleasant, friendly town. The nine-storey Leh Palace is the main building in town. Above the palace is the Victory Fort on top of Namgyal Hill. The old town consists of a series of small winding streets. There are several interesting sites and gompas in the area. The best time to visit Leh is from May to September. In the winter, temperatures drop to –30 degreesC and in the summer, temperatures are between 11 degreesC and 26 degreesC. (Arriving in Leh by plane, you need to acclimatize. Leh is at an altitude of 3505m, so it is important to acclimatize to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Rest for atleast one day (that means not even walking around and definitely not consuming alcohol) before undertaking anything strenuous.)

After breakfast meet with your Guide for the visit of Leh  Palace & the Leh Bazaar. The nine-storey Leh Palace is the main building in town. Above the palace is the Victory Fort on top of Namgyal Hill. The Leh Bazaar is an interesting Place as you get to witness the Daily normal life of local people. The old town consists of a series of small winding streets. There are several interesting sites and gompas in the area. Post Lunch Leave for Shankar to visit one of the most enrich monasteries having fine images, thangkas and murals at Shankar Gompa of the Yellow Hat Sect. Also visit the STOK Palace & Museum. Enroute stop at Choglamsar to visit the Tibetan Refugee Camps. Early evening return back to the Leh & relax

After breakfast leave by surface for Shey { 15 Kms } , the earlier Summer capital of Laddakh kings, visit the Royal Palace , also visit the Buddhist Temple situated on Rock . Drive to Thiksey Monastry. {The 12-storey monastery painted deep red, ochre and white, with typical tapering walls has 10 temples} Visit the temples . Lunch at the Monastry restaurant leave for Hemis. On arrival visit Hemis Gompa built on a green hillside surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Evening Return Back to LEH .

DAY 06: LEH – ALCHI 70 kms / 01 Hr 45 M
After Breakfast leave by road for Alchi. Visit the famous Alchi Monastry, the three - storey ‘Dharma Wheel Gompa’, actually run by the gompa in Likir, is noted for its massive Buddha statues. On arrival installation at Hotel & Overnight .

DAY 07: ALCHI – Likir – Spituk – LEH 85 kms / 02 Hrs
Breakfast in hotel. AM: Leave by surface to Leh, enroute visit of Likir Monastery. (Picnic lunch en route.) Also visit Spituk Gompa. Late PM: On arrival, installation in hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 08: LEH – Tso Moriri (4000m) 150 Kms / 04 Hrs
After Breakfast Leave by surface to TSO-MORIRI LAKE.{Mountain Lake}, via Mahey Bridge En route visit Chumathang hot Springs & S.O.S School at Sumdo, Late PM: On arrival, installation in CAMP.

After breakfast at camp, Visit to Karzog village (4572m), a delightful village of Korzok, inhabited by friendly people. Also visit The 'gompa' - It is inhabited predominantly by about 30 women, who often spend their days making beautiful garments for themselves. PM: Free to explore the local area around Tso moriri lake. Overnight in Campsite.

DAY 10: TSO - MORIRI LAKE – LEH 150 Kms / 04 Hrs
AM: Leave by surface to LEH. Upon arrival installation at hotel & free for the day.

DAY 11: LEH – Khardung La Pass (5578mts) – DESKIT (3080mts)
AM: Leave by surface for Deskit at the bank of Shayok river. Pass through the Khardung La Pass, the highest pass on a motorable road in the world. Stop at the viewpoints to see the splendour of the mighty Himalayas. Late PM: On arrival, installation in Camp. Overnight at Campsite.

DAY 12: DESKIT Exc. Hundar (3048mts)
AM: Visit the ‘gompa’ in Deskit village, and drive to Hundar. (Visit the ‘gompa’ & view the mountain ranges.) Late PM: Return to Deskit. Overnight at Campsite

AM: after breakfast leave by surface for Leh. Upon arrival at Leh Installation at Hotel. Rest of the relax after along tour.

DAY 14: LEH / DELHI / Onward Destination Flight
AM Hrs. Early morning transfer to Airport to board flight to Delhi. Upon arrival full day transport at disposal at Delhi till evening departure transfer to Delhi International Airport to board flight for Back home / Onward Destination
